The book entitle Regime Change and Ethnic Politics in Indonesia Dayak Politics of West Kalimantan views the history of West Kalimantan politics. It is focus on Dayak politics, the largest ethnic in Kalimantan.
In this book, the writer tries to map out Dayak politics from the early of Indonesia's freedom till the fall of New Order in 1998. After the fallen of New Order, most of Dayak elites and participants demand the recognition in politic.
The pressures by Dayak's people began in district head elections in Sanggau and Pontianak (1998 and 1999). They wanted theirs elite to lead their own land. In 2005, Dayak's people occupied top executive where they were the majority.
